This Week's Question:
Your house is burning down and you have time to select three books you own to take with you. Which three books?
This book was a Birthday present from my Dad and a book I truly love. It's definitely got mature themes in it, and I wouldn't consider it a light read to pass time. This is a book that requires time and emotional involvement. I couldn't recommend it enough, but be prepared for heartbreak.
Also, it's a hardback, so you know, that's just a hundred times better than any paperback ever.
This is probably my all time favourite romance novel, and I couldn't live without it in my life. It's the ultimate romance, a definite classic. It's the kind of book that you can pick up at any time and still love it. Sure, it's on my Kindle, but a physical copy of Pride and Prejudice just feels so right.
I've read this book too many times to count, it's got a well earned place in my heart. The It Girl was probably the first YA book that I ever read, and I fell in love instantly. I suppose you could say it was my gateway novel into the unknown (and incredible) world of YA. I've never looked back.
Kindle
Okay, so this is a cheeky fourth. The question says books, but my Kindle is home to the majority of my books, so it only makes sense that I'd take my book storage with me. Plus it's got
The Winner's Curse and
Red Queen on, and I couldn't part with them! If I had physical copies of those two books they'd definitely be on the list!
Also, my cat is quite fond of it and seems to sit on/with it a lot.
They're the three books (and Kindle) that I'd save in a fire. Which books earned the right to be your chosen three? Let me know what you picked in the comments!
