First Impression Friday is a weekly feature created here at Alexandra Florence Books. I've been finding that what I think about a book changes a whole lot from beginning to end, so I thought it would be really fun to share with you my first impressions on a book, and hopefully read yours too! If you want to join in all you have to do is link your

Red Queen has blown me away, and I'm only 30% into the book. I've basically been reading with my mouth hanging open from the get go. It's not since
The Winner's Curse that a book has made such a good impression on me so quickly. I don't even know how to explain why I'm loving it as much as I am. Mare is a brilliant character, so there's that. The world building is phenomenal and I've only just started! I find myself thinking about
Red Queen during the day when I
should be doing something else. I'm honestly
eagerly anticipating finishing the book, and with half term next week I can say that that will be happening sooner rather than later!
Let's just take a moment to appreciate the men, Cal and Maven. I'm torn, who is she going to end up with? Will she even end up with one of them? I just want to know!!
I'm definitely in book love with Red Queen, looks like I've found my Valentine!
