The first week of
NaNoWriMo is over and it was certainly a lot harder to find time to write than I expected. Over the past week I've made slow but steady progress, and I've realised that before I can write I need to have some sort of plan and character outlines.
I honestly didn't realise that I had so little time to write in the week, what with a full-on uni schedule, but any time that I did have in the evenings was spent with my laptop in hand. I'm really happy with how my novel's coming along, I'm loving my characters (we'll see if I can still say the same at the end of next week).
With so much time either at uni or writing for NaNoWirMo I've not had a lot of time left over to read. I am currently reading
Random by Lark O'Neal, and it's the perfect book to be reading at the moment, very light and easy to dip in and out of.
I'd love to know how everyone else is finding NaNoWriMo, let me know in the comments and make sure you
